KenTrade is among the key stakeholders driving the efficiency of the Mombasa Port with the launch of the annual regional awards known as the East Africa Maritime Awards (EAMA). The award is an initiative of the Kenya Ports Authority with KenTrade and other Port stakeholders including the Kenya Maritime Authority, the Shippers Council of Eastern Africa, the Kenya Revenue Authority and the East Africa Business Council in the Planning Committee steering the awards slated for November 26 in Mombasa
The EAMA launch ceremony took place in Mombasa on Wednesday July 18 at a breakfast forum where KenTrade CEO Mr Amos Wangora was among the invited speakers. CEO’s speech was delivered by Acting Director Strategy Compliance and Business Development Mr. David Ngarama EAMA awards target the maritime community, both individuals and organisations in Eastern Africa that endeavour to strengthen and grow their services at the Port of Mombasa.
